Metamorphoses

“Metamorphoses” addressed two questions: “What happens when you set the same dance to various scores?” and “How do different choreographers respond to a single piece of music?” Featuring the work of five guest choreographers plus Natasha and six commissioned composers, this program satisfied intellectual curiosity as well as aesthetic senses, as each theme went through permutations from bold and colourful to thoughtful and introspective. The program at Palo Alto’s Cubberley Theatre presented all the new works created in 2018!
